This is a relatively secure travel wallet with reasonable accessibility. It has two zippered pockets in the front and one unzippered in the rear. The rear and front each has one full length pocket. The front also has one separate half length pocket. The usable lengths of the full length pockets are approx. 7-3/4". For the half length pocket it is about 3-3/4". The usable widths are about 4-1/2" for the front and 4-3/4" for the rear. Overall wallet size is about 8-1/4" by 5-3/4". There is a clear flexible (removable) plastic insert, which provides a bit of rigidity. The total length of the neckstrap is about 43". The effective strap length is adjustable. Made in China of silk. Most documents fit in the wallet. There have been some tickets that could have used a bit more length to avoid folding. Originally, there was a bit of doubt about the attachment of the neck strap to the wallet. By releasing the stitches, providing more overlap, and restitching, the doubts were eliminated. It has been on many trips with the strap remaining secure. In hot humid environments, wearing the wallet inside the shirt, may produce increased amounts of perspiration in the area. The wallet can be hand washed and hung to dry. Worn under the shirt, it remains relatively secure and accessible, providing access to documents such as tickets and the passport. If you're tired of straightening rolls in your money and documents from your money belt due to rolls in your belly or tired of dropping your pants in public places for accessibility, this may be a better alternative.

I bought this for my daughter to use when going to China. She said it was very soft and comfortable. She even forgot she had it on during the long flight to China. She wishes it had a few more zipper pockets so that she could have separated her American and Chinese money, and she wishes it had an ID slot with a *window* in it. Overall, however, it worked well for her and was worth the money!

I ordered the Rick Steves Silk Neck Wallet and the Rick Steves Silk Money Belt. Both were light-weight,well made and were the perfect size to hold passports, credit cards and tickets. I found that I prefered the money belt. It was very comfortable. There were many times I forgot I was wearing it.

I had the same neck wallet a couple eyars ago, and ended up giving away to my parents. I was wearing one on my recent trip and loved it. it is very durable and light. I highly recommend it. Just a tip for women - I wear it on the waist level, then wear a t-shirt that goes into pants.
