Tropical Travel Program

The Tropical Travel program is a fairly simple one. You are an independent contractor, and you have your own clients. When you sell a travel related product under Tropical Travel industry accreditation IATAN (International Association of Travel Agencies) number you will earn 60% of the commission check sent to Tropical Travel, which includes any override commissions.

By utilizing our computer reservation system software on your personal computer, you can make air, hotel, car, cruise and tour package reservations as if you are in a travel agency office. When you've made the reservation, the system will send the record over to Tropical Travel for ticketing and commission tracking.

Commissions are paid once a month, which will be the 5th of every month. On all cruises, hotels, rental cars, consolidator tickets, packages, your agency will be paid once Tropical Travel has been paid.

Other than your own business expenses, business cards, letterhead, phone, fax, etc. Your only expense is a charge of $200.00 annually for errors and omissions insurance. The annual dues cover quite a few items, but one of the most important items is that when you use Tropical Travel IATAN number you are covered by our error and omission liability insurance.
